BWF Thailand Open

The BWF Thailand Open is a professional badminton tournament on the BWF Tour that is played at the Huamark Indoor Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Dates

The 2023 Thailand Open Badminton tournament in Bangkok was held from the 30th of May to the 4th of June 2023, with the tournament being played the week after the Malaysia Masters in Kuala Lumpur.

This will be the second of two BWF badminton tournaments played in Thailand in 2023 after the Thailand Masters was played in January/February 2023.

Prize Money and Points

The total prize fund for the 2023 Thailand Open badminton tournament will be $420,000, with the prize money and points being split as follows.

Women’s/Men’s Singles

The winners of the women’s/men’s singles tournament in 2023 will receive $31,500 and 9,200 ranking points, while the runner-up will receive $15,960 and 7,800 ranking points.

2023 Winners and Runner Ups

Men’s Singles

The winner of the 2023 men’s singles competition was Kunlavut Vitidsarn who defeated Lee Cheuk Yiu 21-12, 21-10 in the 2023 final (see video highlights from the final below).

Women’s Singles

The winner of the 2023 women’s singles competition was An Se-young who defeated He Bingjiao 21-10, 21-19 in the 2023 final.
